Performance Classes
There are currently two opportunities for students to develop their musical gifts through performance classes. These choirs are great fun and offer significant value, and public performances are always well attended.

The Taylor Community Choir is an intergenerational choir that explores a variety of music from various historical periods, thereby exposing its singers to some of the great musical literature of our Christian heritage. The Choir is non-audition and attracts members from across the city, drawn to the fun atmosphere in which serious music is rehearsed and performed with love and care.
Registration for The Taylor Community Choir happens in later summer/early autumn. Everyone with a love of singing and appreciation of great sacred choral music is invited to join.

The Taylor Flute Ensemble is a 25-week program starting in September, conducted by flautist Dorie Gold. The rehearsals take place in Studio C of the Conservatory on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
The cost to participate works out to $10 per session. Participation includes two concert performances each year, one in May and one in November.
This exciting opportunity to participate in a community flute choir is open to musicians aged 14 and up. To set up an audition, contact Dorie directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
